Our first official interview here on The Ripple Effect Podcast and it's with one of Steve's favorite entrepeneurs. We know you'll enjoy getting to know Ben and hearing some of his entrepreneurial journey and how became such a web rock star! Hint: It involved the smell of meatballs.
Why do so many of us insist on not using, even paying for, help when we need it. One word of advice - don't do that.
So you think you want to be an entreprenuer because Shark Tank makes it look so easy. Well think again. Entreprenuership isn't for everyone. Sometimes it's just for the crazy ones. Which clear, Steve is.
Annoying people sometimes get that way because of past experiences, work environments and poor leadership. If you find yourself dealing with an annoying person on your team, maybe it's time to have a frank and honest conversation. Your efforts may just be what turns their attitude around and that frown upside down.
Best advice I can give....never stop learning. Why? Because the new stuff you learn opens up new pathways to new ideas, new ways of thinking and helps you adapt and evolve. I mean if my guitar playing doesn't inspire you to want to pick up a 6 string and show me how to really play it, I don't know what will.
Oh and don't tell anyone about my Star Wars comic book habit please. Let's just keep that between us whatda say?

Even the Ripple man from time to time has to do a little peep check to determined if the people he's surrounding himself with are helping or hurting him. No one has time for negative people who drain all that is good from your soul. Maybe it's time you too took a stand and said no more sucky negative people in your life too.
A cult classic from the 80's Ferris Bueller actuall in large part is responsible for teaching me how to come out of my shell, embrace life and be a friend to all. Of course I'm still trying to figure out how to be as cool as him. Maybe change my name to Abe Froman since Ferris is taken.
If you don't understand that last line, you owe it to yourself to rent Ferris Bueller immediately. Or just watch this: http://youtu.be/7HNd3qz68Zw
Last year Steve discovered he made nearly $1 Million dollars worth of introductions. That'a lot of Ripples eh?

This podcast episode was inspired by Steve's BLOG post on the same topic at the end of the year. Check that out here: http://ripplecentral.com/what-is-your-connection-worth/
